Introducing The New NSF 3050 From Luminox

May 26, 2021 | By Steven Peers

Luminox have a been officially licensed by the United States Department of the Navy for over 25 years now, to produce robust watches to withstand all sorts of abuse.  The U.S. Navy SEALs’ suggestions were factored in when designing the watches. To have the best readability under any conditions on land, air or sea.

The 3051.GO.NSF was designed with the Navy Seal Foundation (NSF), and features the NSF logo on its case back. Just released,  its not a stealthy black out, but more of a grey-out version, adorned with a monochrome Luminox logo on the dial. Personally I think the grey and black colourway looks awesome.

The Navy Seal Foundation, is a not for profit organisation, that provides essential programmes and support Seal’s, SWCC’s, Veterans and their families. From healthcare support to the transition from active service to a civilian life.

The 3050 series’ design is captivating due to its pronounced “turtle shape” with 44mm case. The case is made entirely of their Carbonox material, so lighter than SS and Titanium.  This watch is unique thanks to its protected crown and dive bezel. As like most divers the crystal is not sapphire but hardened mineral and water resistant to 200 meters.

Its proven Luminox  Tritium Light Technology lighting system provides self-powered readability in any situation. “Always Visible”, for up to 25 years.

So if you fancy getting on your camo gear and rubbing dirt in your face for a paintballing session, this is the prefect watch !!
